After about 12 miles (19 km), as you round a curve you will reach the Mojave Phone Booth.

Many people have commemorated their visit, some of which can be seen from a distance, like the white sign nailed high on the pole.   Below, in a view from behind the booth, along a cattle grate, you can see an American Flag someone posted on the telephone pole.
